After a splendid evening meal it is worth a walk across to view the old barracks. Great view of Derry and the river.

Its more about the symbolism to be honest, would have been a pity not to have walked it, brings a greater understanding of the difficult times that preceded its building. Everyone that visits should cross it and reflect!

Make sure you include the Peace Bridge and Peace Flame in your visit to Derry. Lovely walk from the Guildhall to the Peace Flame in the nearby garden and then across the bridge to Ebrington Square.
