As the title states, Dickensian. Nice little shops with local, or Irish, crafts. Nestled amongst them, in the square, a wonderful 'Al fresco' restaurant with good food.

You'll find there some beautiful small shops offering a great choice of hand made Irish souvenirs. In the Craft Village you can also buy an interesting book at an antiquarian bookshop or have a coffee at an atmospheric cafe.

We spotted the village while walking the city wall. So glad we stopped in. There were lots of paintings, pottery, glass pieces from local artists. We even started chatting with an artist who planned the rest of our travels that day. Stop on in!!
