Bernadette Devlin/McAliskey, champion of the Irish people in the North and a strong advocate for a United Ireland. This is one of many murals in Derry, but one that stands out.

Every picture does tell a story especially this one that leaves you entrenched in the history of the sacrifices made by many. Worth it!!

In dealing with history. I did the Museum first. That teaches you all you dont know about why these Mural's exist . The are worth the time

I viewed these from the walls and the artists were of great talent. After years of discontent it is lovely to be able to see Derry at peace again.

Bernadette Devlin took a lot of risks in her time and paid the price in her time, I hope she is treated well in history as an outspoken advocate for the people of the Bogside
