After a walking tour of the Bogside it was good to get a different perspective on the more recent history as well as a good overview of the general history of Derry.

Excellent walk with great views of the City and plaques to explain history. Gives you a greater insight into what went on in times past and the many lives that were lost in conflict.

No, you can do it yourself. But it’s not expensive to do the tour and the guide provides valuable insights into the city’s history and difficult conflicts.
