We had an incredible experience today at the Giants Causeway. I cannot say enough good things about Eimear Flanagan and her company “Away a Wee Walk” private walking tour. She took us on a guided cliff hike today that took our breath away. The small area that the Giants Causeway tour busses take you to is only the tip of the iceberg in this natural masterpiece. The private hike took us along the cliffs to see amazing vistas that almost never get blocked by fog, because the weather moves by so quickly! In the two hour experience we had sun, wind, light rain, not so light rain, and perfectly calm. She also took us to see waterfalls at Glenariff that were just so beautiful. Emiear is incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly - we made easy conversation all day. This was a day we will never forget!

Gavin was a terrific guide. The tour was all that we had hoped for, breathtaking views and a increasingly well informed guide. We shared the pathway with an enormous group of marathoners, who were so courteous. The weather was amazing and we could see to Scotland! This is a VERY strenuous hike, the terrain is challenging and hiking boots or shoes necessary. The path is narrow and muddy in some places. It was wonderful!

100% perfect tour. Spectacular views. Enjoyable brisk pace. Our guide, Paul, was one of the very best tour guides we've ever had -- knowledgeable, highly competent, good conversationalist, well-traveled. He delivered a top-notch tour, elaborating on everything from Irish history and politics, to geography, nature, culture, myths and more. Most important, he made sure we were attended to in every detail for the entire tour.

As a world traveler who almost always books a local tour, I can attest that Away A Wee Walk provided a world-class experience.

Don't just visit the Giant's Causeway, truly experience the history, the geology, the myths, AND the Giant's Causeway itself with a guided cliff walk from Away A Wee Walk.

We loved that everything from parking to bus ride was included in our ticket price. Our guide Gavin was amazing. We learned so much and can't wait to bring our family members here when they visit us in Ireland.

The hike does require at least a moderate fitness level due to elevation and gain and distance. 100% recommend hiking boots or shoes for traction and mud and clothes that will dry quickly if you get caught in a pop up rain shower.

The scenery on this walk was absolutely gorgeous. Could not have seen these beautiful places any other way, and our guide was very knowledgeable. That said, I was not prepared for what a strenuous walk it was. Many hills and steps to climb and a few gates to crawl over. But the others in our group did not have any difficulty so obviously it was just a 75 year old me, whose body can’t do what it’s head thinks it can.

It’s spectacular scenery and thank you for your fine compliments of it! Undertaking a 5 mile cliff hike at 75 is impressive stuff. We also have private tour options which can help us be more flexible than the public tour. For anyone who isn’t sure, please reach via our website contact page if you have concerns regarding capability.

Our guide, Paul, was fabulous. The walk to the causeway amazing and so beautiful. Th walk to the stones actually surpassed seeing the stones. This was the highlight of our 3-week European tour.

Nine members of our family enjoyed an amazing walk with Paul our guide. He was knowledgable, entertaining and full of fascinating facts about history, mythology and geology. He obviously cared a great deal about the area and it’s preservation and maintaining the path and wider area. We all felt that this was the perfect way to see the giants causeway, as you got the geological build up that enhanced our appreciation of the causeway itself. It was great value for money

This was a gorgeous hike along the Coast Path, led by our knowledgeable guide Paul. Paul gave us a good explanation of the geology and history of the area. Amazing views! We were blessed with gorgeous sunny weather, and a few short rain showers, too. We hiked about 7 miles total, ending at the Giant’s Causeway and the stones . A perfect day!

This was a fantastic way to experience the Giants Causeway I was travelling solo and decided at the last minute to book onto this guided tour and it did not disappoint. It was an amazing 5 mile walk along the cliff top with spectacular views overlooking the ocean.

Gavin our guide was fantastic he was a local man who pointed out so many interesting things along the way that you just would know without a guide. He was so informative with a mix of geography, history , geology and of course a the great story of Finn McCool. It was just myself and a group of three other tourists who where travelling together I felt really welcomed and comfortable join Gavin was very good at chatting with us along the way and seemed genuinely interested in us as people and also so passionate about the outdoors and the stories. I would highly recommend to all worth every penny. Thanks so much for the experience.
