The Staff who work in this Library saved me when I was lost. I am so happy I found this place as I feel they saved my life, it is now my most favoured place in Belfast.

According to the poster outside, this library opened on Jan 2 1908. It's next door to the Bobby Sands mural, so you can't miss it. It's a beautiful building, over two floors, and a great amenity for the locals. Don't be afraid to go for a stroll up the Falls, and pop in here for a rest, and a read of the paper. Thank you for your comments on Falls Road library, I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and are happy to recommend the library to others. You may be interested to know that you can use the internet in the library without being a member but you would have to pay a charge. However even if you do not live permanently in Northern Ireland you can become a member on a temporary basis, which will allow free access to the internet, will not cost you anything and allows you to use the services of any public library in Northern Ireland including borrowing items from one library and returning them to another.
