We enjoyed the walking tour immensely. Our guide was excellent having lived through the troubles as a young boy and this insight just made the tour more interesting. The walk lasted for 2.5 hours and covered the city centre area, finishing of by the river. We learnt a lot about the troubles that we did not know previously and it opened our eyes more and more. One thing we did learn that Brexit with a closed border is not a good idea!!…

We hoped to learn more about "the troubles" while visiting Belfast. This tour provided us with information and leveled perspective on the history and political situations of Northern Ireland/Ireland. Mark, the guide and creator of this tour, was excellent at relaying facts in an engaging manner. We highly recommend this activity.…

If you’re interested in history and political conflicts this is an excellent tour! Very interesting to hear both sides of the Troubles and see murals and monuments throughout the city. Sometimes could not hear Rob over the street noise but Mark was very animated and passionate. Wear comfortable shoes and make sure you go to the bathroom before the tour starts!…

We arrived in Belfast with no real plans. The Tourist office recommended the Belfast City Walking Tour and we took their advice. Two hour walking tour that provided a great physical overview of the City as well as a detailed history of the Troubles. Great overview of the City and our guide John was outstanding.…
