    Excellent
An excellent visit to a such beautiful building. What made the visit most enjoyable was that seldom have we been met by such polite, friendly, helpful and welcoming staff from the security guards to the tour guide. They are great ambassadors for the country.

    Lovely park
I arrived too late to visit the Parliament itself but had a nice walk around the gardens. Well maintained with beautiful views. Interesting information board explaining the history of the site located near the front of the building.

    A must see
A group of us went on a visit, we hadn't planned it, we were amazed at the view of up the hill to the Parliament Building, and the grounds. We walked up the hill, and made our way inside. I have to say were all were blown away with the beauty of the building, the fascinating information in each room, as we walked around. All the staff were so friendly and helpful too. I would advise anyone going to book the tour, and also a meal in the members dining room (at £21 for a 3 course silver service meal, apparently I can understand why bookings have to be done well in advance), all which we would do next time we visit, and we will be back. A great attraction for everyone, and families will enjoy the Mo Mowlam park, with so much for kiddies to enjoy. A must visit for anyone going to Belfast.

The best of the best !
Our visit to this wonderful building was perfect in every way. The staff are the best we ever have experienced, the welcome, thier helpfulness and the attitude of wanting to do the best for the visitors was so appreciated. Can we highlight Martin and Martin they both are real gentlemen, that made our experience of visiting the Colin Davidson art, as good as the paintings themselves.Thank you.

    The Stormont Experience
Fantastic building and approach to it. Didn't know you could actually go into the building as a member of the public. Did the tour today led by a fantastic guide called Mickey. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it. Maybe not for small children though.

    Fantastic visit
Fantastic experience, an iconic venue with an amazing host. Our tour guide was passionate and very knowledgeable as he took time to share with us the complexities in the evolution of Northern Ireland. Standing in the Great Hall, and being able to sit in the committee chamber and the assembly chamber was breathtaking. But Mickey the tour guide made the visit... Absolute gem....

    Informative, timely and free!
Having toured Northern Ireland and Donegal we were pleased to end it at Storemont. The tour was free and Sarah was extremely knowledgeable. She worked to explain the dividing issues without presenting one over another. She helped us understand the working of the building, and Northern Irish politics over the top of the noisy arrangements for a major press conference the following day. It was very worth while.

    Excellent 5* experience!
The history and story of this building is bound together with history and story of the island of Ireland. More than just a place where laws are debated and are made (when the Government is sitting), the official tour has successfully put together (in about one and a half hours) a synopsis of the events, and the people who have shaped this part of the United Kingdom to our present day scenario. Our excellent guide, Mickey, had SO much information in his head which he imparted with great enthusiasm and interest that it was also impossible not to get caught up in the detail of his account. If you want to learn more about the Province….together with the many other excellent tours which Belfast has to offer, then a visit to the Northern Ireland Assembly is a must. It is also FREE for all to attend, you just need to register your attendance on line (so they know how many visitors to expect at any given time). To start/end your tour there is a lovely small cafe (contactless only) on the premises which also sells some interesting items relating to Northern Ireland and the parliament. I would highly recommend this tour…..and indeed a second visit might be on the cards on my next stay in the city!

    Very imposing building
We did not go into the building due to time restrictions but had a good look around the outside and garden areas. It is a very imposing place with a fantastic lamp lined street leading up to it . Out the front in the roadway is a very nice statue of some gentleman of importance I am sure . Have a look for sure

We were on a tour out of Belfast that drove to the top of the hill and let us off for some photos of the building that sits at the bottom of Prince of Wales Avenue. The Greek classical building had six columns representing the counties of Northern Ireland. The surrounding grounds and gardens are also very scenic and impressive. We didn't get a chance to go inside and tour the building, but the views are worth a visit.

A superb tour, with a warm welcome from every member of staff we met. Our Tour Guide Sarah was outstanding, full of knowledge and enthusiasm. The Stormont Parliament stands full square at the centre of Northern Ireland politics since its opening in 1932 right up until today. Northern Ireland politics is complicated, so its worth reading up a little of the background in advance and leaving ones own preconceptions at Reception.

Although security staff were not helpful. I had a great experience taking part in the guided tour and learned a lot. Being able to watch the Assembly Carol Service was an added bonus.

We went on the eleven o’clock tour. Not only did the guide have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Ireland but he managed to include everyone on the tour no matter where the came from. Dull facts, figures and characters came to life as we traced kings, politics, religion and conflict in a colourful timeline. Who knew that the national colour of Ireland was blue and not green. We found out where hillbillies came from. I have been on many tours of buildings but I must say, I enjoyed Mickeys talk more than all the others. This was brilliant

Glider 1 from the city centre stops just by the gates to the Stormont Estate and the famous straight drive up to the Assembly building.
The drive is apparently three quarters of a mile and up hill but by taking time and exploring the park meant the journey up passed easily.
Usual airport style security before entry but the security staff are very jolly and helpful.
There is a small coffee shop and toilets available.
Sarah, the guide, was clear and easily heard over the coming and goings and gave an unbiased explanation of how the assembly works or doesn’t work at present.
The tour is just over an hour long and then it’s downhill to the bus stop.

During our bus tour of Belfast, we went to see the Parliament Buildings. Our tour guide was very good, and gave us some interesting information about how it was built and the cost. And they're not even currently using is to govern now! But that drive down that long road in front is impressive. We stopped about halfway down, and go some amazing pictures.

I have been on tours of a few legislatures around the world, and this was one of the best.

Our guide Mickey was full of interesting facts not only about Stormont today but also the wider historical context. What made this tour stand out is that it was all presented in an extremely engaging and entertaining way.

The tour covers the main areas of the building including the current Assembly chamber. It is free but needed to be booked online in advance.

I would highly recommend the tour if you have an interest in the history of Northern Ireland.
