Great tour, knowledgeable guide

An amazing tour with Hugh. He shared lots of information from both sides of the divide. We visited the key and iconic sights and with Hugh's narrative, understood why they were important.

I felt like I learnt some new things about the Troubles, and how life is now growing up in Belfast.

Hugh was easy to communicate with prior to the tour and he was happy to collect us from our hotel and drop us in the city centre at the end. I'd definitely recommend the tour. Thanks Hugh.

Hugh our driver was great, very informative and factual without bias. Explained the troubles and other issues whilst having a positive attitude to where things are heading and acceptance for all parties. A lot of learning for us as we didn’t have much of an understanding of the history previously.
He also dropped us off downtown afterwards with a suggestion of where to wonder through to get a feel for the city - which was appreciated.
Would recommend as a tour to do for anyone coming to Belfast.

Enjoyed Hugh and the Tour

Hugh met us right on time at the appointed meeting location and started by asking how much we (a group of 4 seniors) knew of "The Troubles" and then tailored his presentations to our knowledge, questions and needs.
Many interesting stories were shared, including one personal story involving Hugh, that if "totally true" was serious and troubling. But we felt it may have only been "half true" with some embellished parts as he told a serious tale with a bit of a twinkle in his eye and a punchline in the end.

We had a wonderful time learning about the history and culture behind the city of Belfast. Fabulous story telling about the murals and the neighborhoods. Highly recommend this excellent experience

Very informative, a full 1.5 hour tour and commentary. I enjoyed the tour and learned a lot. Hugh has a lot of knowledge.

Grab Hugh to be your Black taxi guide!
Hugh was a wonderful tour guide. He had a great sense of humour and provided us with a detailed and balanced account of the complexities of Belfast and its checkered history. His accounts were peppered with personal backstories which we particularly enjoyed. He even gave us a great spot to grab lunch. Hugh was marvelous and we would highly recommend choosing him for your Black Taxi tour.

Great experience.
This was a great tour by a knowledgeable guide.It was well worth the time and we learned a lot about history. I would recommend this tour.
