The parking lot is near the town, so a bit busy - you have to pay a few pounds to park - bring change. Then, you cross the road, go over a bridge set across a rushing stream and into a green fairy forest glen...More

Well worth a visit. Small welsh castle within easy walking distance of the town. Sadly like many former 'ministry of works' properties the visitor support has been stripped back to very little. Signs from the road can be easily missed. We knew it was there...More

Found this old castle having gone for a walk in our hotel’s grounds, so was an unexpected bonus. Good place to get some photos of the lakes and nice bit of old Welsh history.

A very small castle which is worth a quick visit. Not a lot to see but interesting none the less. It is free and only a short walk from the national slate museum.

It is well worth the effort in climbing up the hill to the castle which has superb views over both lakes.

A ruind castle within walking distance of the cheapest carpark in Llanberris, just behind the lake railway. .For a little more excercise, the castle is on the edge of some beautifull woodland, excellent for dog walking.

Pass the Snowdon Mountain Railway on your left, then turn next right. The best car park to visit the castle is down this lane on the left - see my photo of the car park sign. You’ll need £4 in cash for the parking meter....More

Well worth a visit, free admission, lovely walk through about 40 acres of woodland. An ideal place to walk your dog.

Quiet place with small castle and lake view. Great that can walk close to the castle and go upstairs. Worth to visit if you are in town.
