Just the place to take the family. Try the cafe in the old carriage, reasonable prices. The trip on the little steam train is great value.

I don't remember reviewing a railway station before, but then again, I don't remember visiting one as nice as Betws-y-Coed station before. I'd heard it was one of the nicest on the network, and I wasn't disappointed.

Betwys y coed is one of my favourite places in Wales and is a place we always gravitate to because of Swallow Falls. I remember camping by the river as a kid; brilliant days!

We walked through the station and took a few photos of the platforms, old carriages and the foot bridge and had a look around. On the outside there's some shops to browse through and cafes but it's a very busy spot with coaches.
