All reviews buried here henry viii resting place choir stalls queen mother stained glass gothic architecture princess margaret steeped in history beautiful building george's chapel visiting windsor castle royal wedding castle tour audio guide amazing history lots of history
This was our 2nd time visiting the chapel. The first time was in 2005 when we were fortunate enough to attend a service for a retiring knight, but were unable to walk around. This time we were able to view the chapel.
The chapel is a lot larger than any other chapel I have been in. It is a beautiful place with so much history. Several Kings and Queens are buried there and I found it very interesting.
Well worth a visit
Probably my favorite part of the Windsor Castle tour. Wanted to see the tomb of KIng Henry VIII (pretty non-eventful, but I saw it). It’s just and absolutely beautiful place inside and out. Was a nice change from the Windsor Castle state apartment tour.
Beautiful and so much history in here very peaceful and tranquil much smaller then it looks on television also got to see the parts you don’t see on tv like where the queens father mother and sister are buried as well as others
