A great house to visit when in the area of the cathedral; the history behind this house is a fascinating insight into the past - with a very nice garden. The staff were all really helpful, friendly and informative about the interior of the building....More

We visited here on our recent trip to Salisbury and found it a most interesting house and it being a nice, sunny day, we had our tea and sandwiches in the tea room garden area. It's not a big house but has some beautiful rooms.

A delightful NationalTrust property right by Salisbury Cathedral. Smaller and more intimate than some of the grander national Trust properties.

We managed to get a quick tour of this charming older home near the Cathedral, and it was well worth it! There are volunteers in every room to describe the furnishings, architecture or answer questions. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

The NT site is worth the visit if just to look at the ceilings. The art work and furnishings were very period focused and well worth seeing. But the highlight was the little cafe in the back next to the garden.

We discovered this lovely property, through our membership app and it’s locality to the shopping areas- a good combination. Tucked away next to the Cathedral, it houses some excellent Dutch still life paintings, willow sculptures by Laura Ellen Bacon in the grounds and to round...More
