Cathedral is hugely impressive. Arrived too late to walk up the tower but everything else was accessible incl Magna Carta - though didn't see any mention of BSE in it's history - shame. Lovely open space around the cathedral too. Like all great buildings there...More

I wanted to visit here to see the Magna Carta which truly was a great thrill. However, the Cathedral itself is also amazing. So much to see and take in. The volunteers are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I wish I had more time.

Salisbury Cathedral is even essentially better than optimistically anticipated. The setting, architecture, abundant with unique, amazing and memorable inclusions are capped by a knowedgeable, tremendously interested and prideful voluntary staff. Not to be missed or hurried!More
