Started our journey at Oxenhope , buying two concession rover tickets at £15 each which enabled us to jump on and of at various stations. A fairly short line but plenty to see along the way. Staff friendly and helpful

A belated review for the Santa special we took our grandson on. We all enjoyed it. Train ride from Oxenhope to Keighley then back, with sherry and a mince pie for adults and a present for the children. Presents were good quality, not just cheap...More

Its an amazing place - if you start at Keighley, you need to go to the right of the station where there is a separate ticket booth and platform - its like going completely back in time - the whole line and buildings are in...More

We popped on the Worth Valley Railway from Howarth to Oxenhope. Lovely steam engine and quaint little carriages. Good selection of ales and other drinks in the dining carriage. Next time would get the day rover instead of paying £4 per person for a short...More

We took a journey between Haworth and Keighley whilst staying in the area. The stations were authentic, with a gift shop for those using as a tourist attraction. The trains themselves were great, very grand and exciting especially for the three year old in our...More

Staying nearby with friends the dawn brought only mist and greyness - so much for the British Easter Holidays! At least a ride on a steam train would be atmospheric and the "Rail Story" Museums at Ingrow a good place to bring back memories of...More

This isn’t one of the most scenic of the preserved rail lines. Most of the views from the window are post industrial or new build housing. The 25 minute trip is short on rolling hill but provides a good insight as to why the line...More

We had a wonderful day out on the K&WVR yesterday. We were blessed with gorgeous weather which truly brought out the beauty of the surrounding countryside as well as the beauty of the engine we travelled behind. We purchased a Rover ticket each, which gave...More
