Ample parking
The kids loved the animals.
Ice cream was pricey at £2.50 for a small cone but delicious with at least 10 different flavours.

We visited on a very hot afternoon, but the children still enjoyed seeing the different animals and playing on the equipment (although the metal slide was too hot!). The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The ice creams were amazing! Well worth a visit, we will be back!!

This place has such fabulous ice cream flavours , a bit pricey when purchasing for a family but nice as a treat now . The prices went up in lockdown which myself and several friends felt a little unfair particularly when the pandemic had definitely increased their business so much , there are now really long queues every time you attend . When other shops open fully I think the price hike might put people off going as often as there will be other places to try.
Staff nice but disappointed last visit when called in that one member of staff behind the counter didn’t have either a mask or visor on. She wasn’t serving at the time but a good example should always be set .
Ice cream is delicious and can be purchased in big tubs to take home , they also do sometimes do sorbet but need to ask for this as never have in the cabinet at the front .
I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the mask issue and price increase .

Went today after a long time due to covid, so happy they have reopened the farm snd play area. My kids haven't stopped talking about all the animals, petting them was like therapy for us all! The animals are so friendly!

The play area was well maintained and perfect for my children aged 3 and 6.

Ice cream was fab, lots of choices. My son wanted lemon and was allowed to try a sample. The staff were super smiley and friendly, this made the trip worthwhile and enjoyable.

If you're visiting for a first time, keep in mind it is a working farm so it will smell and look 'farmy' there are muddy areas etc but for us this was not a problem. The play area itself is very clean. We missed the benches but I'm assuming they took these out due to covid.

Went for Ice Cream on Sunday with the family. It looked busy at first small queue but service was quick and friendly. Children enjoying the farm area.

Since visiting Goodall’s from when I was a child, I left slightly upset today after seeing how run down and unkempt the farm area is. Me and my family noticed that not all of the animals had water and if they did it was brown and full of green moss- clearly not being changed regularly. The donkeys and sheep had barely any grass in their pen and had no food provided by staff whilst one or two ducks sat by an stinking black pond. It’s so disappointing to see how the animals are being kept after all the money and effort that went into getting the farm extended and a park added. I think the staff need to go back to the basics and really start to care for these animals as it is really sad to see them living like this.

Always a queue for ice cream but well worth the wait. Different flavours make it hard to decide which to try. Little farm is for the children. The llamas are very friendly.

Heard about this Farm/Ice cream parlour, so decided to give it a go.
Ice cream ok. Strange smell inside parlour, very gloomy due to a lot of wood.
Donkeys, goats, seemed to have very little grass to nibble on, drinking water was dirty. Duck pond very stagnant one part where I assume was normally a stream was very dry and muddy with an abundance of flies hovering over the mud.
Only could find one communal toilet to use which was disgusting, used baby wipes on our hands instead. Very disappointing having high expectations from what I had heard, It is obviously well frequented as was very busy, sadly we won’t be going again.

I wonder why Goodall's bothers to put the pitiful selection of animals on display - though I suspect they think it will draw families with children. I personally am fed up with seeing animals in poor condition, dirty living conditions and filthy water containers. Skinny goats with protruding backbone and scabby coat. Same old thing every year, nobody ever comes to sort out the animals. Judge for yourself, see my photographs.
