This communications tower stands tall overlooking Birmingham. It’s not particularly grand but holds its place amongst many landmarks in Birmingham.

More cylindrical than the London one but equally as impressive. I do feel it's a missed opportunity not being able to go up the tower.

This is an iconic building and a big part of the Birmingham skyline. Although it is not a particularly attractive looking building.

Whereas I will happily champion the right to keep iconic structures such as the Rotunda, I must say that I question the need to keep the Telecom Tower. Some people tend to assume that just because a building has been here for a while it...More

As a boy in the seventies I dragged my grandma from the city centre to look and hopefully go inside but as now it wasn't open to the public. I still think it's an iconic structure that's not unattractive having been modernised in keeping with...More

Knowing that we could not enter the building, went to look anyway. Very impressed by its height and small footprint. A great contribution to our Birmingham skyline and worth the walk. Come on BT, open it up and make some money. I'd pay a fiver...More
