A few streets away from main town centre, worth taking a few pictures of, quite an unusual building.

This is an iconic building and a big part of the Birmingham skyline. Although it is not a particularly attractive looking building.

This tower is a really useful landmark which can be seen from many parts of the city, and I have often used it to orientate myself when visiting Birmingham. Apart from that, it isn't really an attraction because it is not open to the public...More

it's an ugly tower lets be honest. I only use it to orientate myself when i need to go around St. Paul. considering it is one of the tallest building in Bham, why not open it to allow people to get to the roof to...More

Whereas I will happily champion the right to keep iconic structures such as the Rotunda, I must say that I question the need to keep the Telecom Tower. Some people tend to assume that just because a building has been here for a while it...More

As a boy in the seventies I dragged my grandma from the city centre to look and hopefully go inside but as now it wasn't open to the public. I still think it's an iconic structure that's not unattractive having been modernised in keeping with...More

Knowing that we could not enter the building, went to look anyway. Very impressed by its height and small footprint. A great contribution to our Birmingham skyline and worth the walk. Come on BT, open it up and make some money. I'd pay a fiver...More

It's not much of a tourist attraction, it's a 50 year old telecom tower. The tower structure is different from most telecom towers. It has a basic square cross section of about twenty five stories or so, with technical and office space, I think atop...More

There's not much to say about this tower except its pretty high and you can see it from the outskirts of the city if you're high enough. You can't actually visit the tower or go up it.
