The UK's third smallest Cathedral, but truly stunning and the only green space within the city. Designed in a fine English Baroque style, this elegant Cathedral is decorated with four stained glass windows by Pre-Raphaelite artist, Edward Burne-Jones. Daily services and prayer, Cathedral shop open most days. All are welcome.

Neither the biggest nor the most ornate UK cathedral by far, but it is distinguished by the vivid stained glass windows by Pre-Raphaelite artist, Edward Burne-Jones. Certainly worth visiting for those alone. The building has a distinctly Victorian feel to it, but was in fact...More

Peaceful location in the very heart of Birmingham. Fabulous stained glass windows by Burne-Jones. Well worth dropping in to escape the hustle and bustle outside

Most of the area under renovation as the construction of road and bridge is going on. Ok place not much to offer as sightseeing.

A beautiful and small cathedral with the most exquisite stained glass windows by Burne-Jones. I was able to really spend some time gazing and talking in the incredible artistry. They are all spectacular, but my favourite was the Nativity window - the detail is superb....More

It‘s a nice cathedral. It‘s the third smallest cathedral in the U.K. It was a 10 minute walk from my hotel.

A beautiful building with a fascinating history. Fortunately the organist was practicing so that added to the atmosphere

I've been in before, but took a couple of friends in for the first time. The stained glass is wonderful and there is a lovely atmosphere. We heard some lovely organ music, which turned out to do with the appointment of the Director of Music.

It's not what you might expect from a cathedral with no gothic arches or flying buttresses. Instead what we have is a rare example of English baroque, first opened at the very beginning of the Georgian period in 1715. It was extended in Victorian times...More

Having just spent a few hours in the city Art Gallery and Museum seeing, amongst other things, a fine display of pre-Raphaelite paintings, it was most interesting to come across this cathedral's magnificent stained-glass windows, which were designed by Burne-Jones, made by the William Morris...More
