Got told about this bar a couple of weeks ago, paid a visit and was blown away by it, amazing interior real retro look, couple of tiny alcoves with seating and few other areas. Small but fab. Brew own beers and serve ONLY them so...More

Discovered this place on Saturday and absolutely loved it. Ignore the complaining reviews about what its not. There are clear signs at the entrance stating its sells beer, no J20, no Prosecco etc and is cash only. Choice of 3 beers, all £3 a pint....More

A truly wonderful place! Friendly atmosphere, cool music and really lovely staff. The beers brewed here are of the finest quality and taste incredible. Unbeatable! I love!

Got there within an hour of opening & the place was heaving. Hardly surprising as the 3 real ales on are always lovely. Eventually got a seat in the new add on extension. Fire on, place snug & cosy. Shame it can’t open more often...More

Great little bar. Good ales good music. Nobody is ever rude behind the bar. Exaggeration comes to mind

I was pondering whether to reduce the rating to 4 stars because of the very limited range of soft drinks, but I must review it for what it is, a brewery selling it's products, so 5 stars it is. The beers are excellent, although as...More

The Rock n' Roll Brewhouse is a hidden gem. It's like your own private clubhouse and is always guaranteed to be a good time. The decor reflects the name, with 7" singles nailed to the ceiling and gig posters adorning the walls. They post their...More

In many respects, this bar is everything people say about it. There's a great feel to the place (it's clearly an environment that's been put together with a lot of love) and the beer is cheap and first rate. I'd heard excellent things about it...More

Hi Charlie As a regular punter at the Rock n' Roll Brewhouse (not affiliated in any way, just a supporter), I'm a little confused by your review. From what I gather from your post, you didn't check in advance whether it was okay to bring a child to the venue. The Brewhouse has to comply with strict licensing laws, which are in some respects stricter than ordinary pubs (it's a brewery, not a public house, so there are very tight controls about what they can serve, for example). Even so, most pubs and all music venues have their own policies on allowing children onto their premises. It seems a little churlish to give the place a bad review because you made an incorrect assumption and was disappointed. I'm sure that a little courtesy "is it alright to bring my son in?" would have mitigated any concerns.

And for those reading this it is a small enterprise opening to the public for very limited hours hence it is cash only and beer/bottled cider and fruit juice only. No crisps nuts etc either but they do have pop up food... More
