Fantastic breakfast. We stayed in the hotel next door so had breakfast here twice. Three things...excellent service, fantastic music and the sausage stottie...yum!

I went to popolo in Newcastle for a staff christmas do. The music was great, there was an extensive selection of drinks and it was a good location for central newcastle and the station. At £10 each for some finger buffet food it was reasonable...More

This was our first visit to this establishment and we decided to stop off for a latte. I paid for the coffees and took a table outside which was the only one available and littered with used dishes from a previous customer. After a twenty...More

I have been coming to Popolo's for year and it's such a brilliant bar on the Quayside! The music is really relaxing and chilled and the cocktails, wine, spirits & beer on offer are excellent!

We really like it though we may not be the obvious demographic being just over 50. Bar staff are so friendly, music good and generally great atmosphere.

A Friday evening but not enough people in to have a buzz so the atmosphere was a bit flat, beverages were okay, can't comment on the prices as it wasn't my round! So we moved on looking for more lively watering holes.

Relaxed atmosphere in a cool setting. Great choice of guest ales which seem to change very often. Great place to discover new beer! Bar team very welcoming.

Came upon it by accident and am glad we did. We only had drinks but found the music and atmosphere great though it was early on. Plan to try the food next time.
