What a lovely place to visit, very informative on the barges of days gone by. Peaceful surroundings, informative museum and a boat trip which is worth taking to find out a bit more of Guildford's history. There is a tea room and picnic area, plenty...More

Tranquil, fascinating, picturesque and enlightening. A wonderful spot close to Guildford town centre but tucked away so though we are quite local we didn’t know it was here. You can hire a boat to go through the locks for a day or else take the...More

Dapdune Wharf is National Trust owned and is an excellent area to come and visit. These waterways have been in operation since the 17th century and link to the river Wey that flow through Weybridge in Surrey. Surrounding grounds are well looked after.

Half a day but be aware that during busy periods if you leave it too late you won't get a boat trip.

Hi - yes, I'm afraid members to have to pay for the boat trip. The adult price is £3.95, child price £2.30 and a family of 2 adults and 2 children is £11.50. We hope you enjoy it!
