The 390th Bomb Group Memorial Air Museum and the Museum of the British Resistance Organisation are housed in the original war time control tower, associated quanset (nissan) huts, and include the Percy Kindred Library and cafe. Situated on open fields the museum is signposted from the A12 North of Woodbridge after passing through Little Glemham. We are open on Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday’s from the first Sunday in April to last Sunday in October and also on Wednesdays during June, July and August. FREE Kids activites:- Ink Stamper Trail, Lego Table, Activity Sheet FREE parking, FREE Admission DONATIONS GRATEFULLY RECEIVED

What a great place with all the memorabilia associated when it was a American Base supporting its Bombers during the Second World War. Has a tea room as well. The museum is free but donations are very welcome and deserved. The volunteers are well informed....More

Decided to visit as I was passing and I must say it was well worth it. The staff are wonderful and the artefacts are all clearly labelled. A little piece of history many thanks .

Thank you so much for the lovely review, we are very proud of our museum. So glad your grandchildren had a nice time. I hope they tried the children’s trail or stamper/aircraft trail - we try to make it interesting for the younger generation.

Met by very friendly and knowledgable volunteers. Plenty to see and learn about the Americans and the resistance. Free entry but you can’t leave without making some contribution to this excellent museum. Good clean loos and a cafe to finish off your visit

Yes 390th Bomb Group flew from here. B17 Flying Fortresses. 4 Squadrons of 12 planes so 48 planes altogether.
