I use this often to do my business while walking. Obviously not when people are around. Something special about being 'back to nature'

The canal runs through all the industrial parts of Stoke and then into Hanley park. A well used canal by longboats and has some great scenery. Great to see this canal being used.

In our busy city where the road network is confusing and chaotic, behind all this weaves the Cauldon canal with paths that really surprised me.A simple stroll can get you around the hub of the city seeing landmarks from a totally different perspective.

narrow boats go up and down this canal. I know of this canal that enters Hanley Park and have walked along it as it winds towards Hanley. It is nice to see a canal that is enjoyed and used. Great place to walk to unwind.

We love to walk along canals, this canal is generally clean with decent footpaths, as you walk you get the chance to see bottle kilns and get a taste of the potteries and how important the canals were in the past

There is some parking in Stockton Brook - very limited, otherwise it's mainly parking on the road. Enjoy.
