Fab place to escape from everything, lovely walk and a trip through history. The caves are great but you will need a torch at Halloween

The Santa Safari is a unique experience exploiting the caves of Hawkstone Follies meaning that inclement weather is not a showstopper. Even grumpy grandpa sang Christmas carols in the Land Rover. The magic is aimed at children, but one cannot avoid being absorbed by the...More

Lovely setting with superb lighting and friendly staff at reception where things were running late but didn’t really matter. Elves seemed nice people overall. Reindeer’s went down a storm. The only disappointment for us really was Santa himself. My lad (aged 6) was instantly aware...More

What a beautiful afternoon we had at the stunning Hawkstone Follies. We were so impressed with the caves and the reindeer’s. The children loved the whole thing and the land rovers were a highlight. Very well done all round, thank you x

We went on the Santa safari and it could not have been better! Staff were amazing and really friendly and the amount of effort that had gone into decorating the caves and Santa’s grotto was amazing! Kids absolutely loved it! We got to see actual...More

Having visited in October we couldn't resist the Santa Safari. We weren't disappointed. Caves were decked out magically. Elves really chatty and sweet. There was a little bit of unavoidable queuing inside where parties scrunched up but they had advised taking our time in caves...More

15 minutes before scheduled departure, however it can take 5 mins to walk up to the Follies reception centre from the car park so if you work on arriving on site 20 mins before departure, you won’t go far wrong.
