It is small but has a scale model of the whole of the gorge when working and shows a film of the gorge in it's heyday.

Unfortunately the building was closed when we visited but I really admired the outside with its castellated columns.Will try to get inside next time I'm in the area.

While this was an interesting place to visit, I would describe it more as a visitors centre than a museum.There were some historical artefatcs, but mostly it was information boards and tableaus. I learned a lot, but it wasn't really what I expected to see...More

As a starting place for the rest of the valley this is just right. It gives an excellent description of the history of the valley and the entrepreneurs who built it.

There were people with dogs in the Victorian Village but not sure about rest of museums.
