Although shrouded in scaffolding at the moment as the ornwork is being sand blasted and repaired it is a great opportunity to get a close view of th ebridge structure from the construction gantry walk. T(e toolhouse Museum is small but very informative

We enquired about a passport ticket allowing entry into all the museums in the Coalbrookdale area. The lady was extremely helpful, checking out the best way for us to buy, as we were English Heritage members and got a discount. Thought it was very good...More

Unfortunately the whole bridge was completely sheeted up and totally masked off at the time of our visit, there being renovations in progress. Quite funny really. As we were en route to Blists Hill we carried on down the gorge, and will return another day....More

Unfortunately for us when we visited the Ironbridge it was undergoing refurbishment and was covered in tarpaulin. We had great views of the Gorge but could not view the bridge.
