Abington Park is very pretty but the only issue I have is that it is completely surrounded by busy roads which can be dangerous for young kids and dogs. There is a cafe, museum, tennis courts and play area for kids so plenty going on....More
and of course when the sun is shining. Rather small but there are two parts to the park separated by a busy road. Small lake with ducks and geese and coots. Paths to walk along. Pleasant place for a stroll.
Was born and brought up around the park and have been an avid visitor for nearly 70 years.
It gets better on every visit and always looks good for either a walk or a picnic or taking the grand children to the swings or bird...More
