Great little bar on Goodramgate not far from the back of the Minster and is owned and run by Vahe himself a lovely little Armenian guy. He always has a good selection of European beers, often Belgian, my personal favourite, and is very knowledgeable on...More
We visit York a couple of times a year and always call in for a glass or two of champagne. Good sized flutes too! There's a fab choice of cocktails, wines and beers as well.

The Vaha Bar is a cosy, but lively little gem close to The Minster in York. The atmosphere is always fun and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A great place for pre or post dinner drinks or a good evening out...
£10.30 for a disgusting small glass of white wine and a terrible pint of beer. Men's toilet are located within a shed out in the garden with no lock. Women's toilets are outdated and smell musty. Where's the closest weatherspoons?
Vahe Bar is an odd place with unusual opening hours, but it's totally worth a visit. A great range of beers that aren't too badly priced, last time I was in there they even had some 2013 Cantillon in the fridge.
