Like most national trust places great for a day out no matter what age you are. The guides here really know their jobs and are very informative indeed. Well done to one and all.

A hidden gem and a lovely warm house to view. It's encouraged to touch and read exhibits, sit on chairs etc even drink a sherry. Be lovely have other room open 8e kitchen and attic etc

A step back in time to a beautifully preserved property. Lots of secluded grounds to walk around and enjoy with hidden corners.

Hi Paul No its open to the public at certain days. Check on the National Trust web site. The restaurant is good as well.

Sorry this Goddards house is in York which is about 300 miles from Brighton and would take most of a day to get there. Chipping Norton is also miles away from both Goddards on York and Brighton. A taxi or uber would be very... More

Electric scooters are allowed in the house but there is no lift so only the ground floor is accessible with an electric scooter.
