This is a lovely park to stroll around and it has a wonderful cafe with great food too. Allow at least an hour to walk around here.

Excellent park went there on 2 July with the wife and dog good walk round the park there also a trail through the woods would recommend it if your ever in york

Do see the park as its relaxing, free and walkable from historic sites. A history will add to its culture.

This little park is my favourite place in York to just sit and enjoy the park and some quiet time. Lots of playsgrounds for family time and a great café in the middle of the park.

Lovely park out of the centre of York but within reasonable walking distance of the city for those who have no mobility difficulties. Well maintained gardens and good level paths but watch out for geese poo.Tennis courts advertised for hire. Toilets available, of reasonable cleanliness....More

Great place to relax and take in the scenery, the weather certainly helped as it was red hot on the day we visited, we would certainly look to back on our next visit to York.

I don't think this a question, more of a statement. And having used toilets in India, I doubt Rooftrees Park can hold a candle to those, you had to hold your breath while using them. Still it is not what I would expect to... More

Hi - I have never seen a barbecue being used here and there isn't a special area.
