Not just limited to the harbour. Everywhere we went in the town was covered in dog poo! Clearly the signs warning of £1000 fines need to be backed up with a warden! Spoilt the day

The harbour was sparkling today in the winter sun with yachts galore, seagulls and people! Is it ever quiet? The houses hugging the harbour are charming as well as all the independent shops.

Whitby is one of our most favourite towns in the area. Small boutiques, quirky restaurants, magnificent events, beautiful architecture and so much history in such a small area.

A lovely, picturesque harbour, complete with swing bridge, sea front amusements, and a charming little town. Plus some of the best fish & chips anywhere.

Pretty part of the world to sit and relax, even on a cold and windy winters day. Lots of surrounding shops, pubs, cafes and chip shops to keep you busy.
