As a lover of Manx kippers I was surprised to find that these were sweeter and tastier. I still love the Manx ones but Fortune's are the best!

Previous reviewers have said it all. These are the best kippers I have eaten in the past forty years. If you liked smoked fish and are near Whitby, you would be mad not to buy some here.

We called at Fortune's Smokehouse for Smoked Haddock, Kippers & Bacon, last Items before we left for home in Halifax, believe me you can forget all the supermarket smoked ?? fish etc. fresh from the Smokehouse is best. No Comparison.

Would never visit Whitby and not come home without a bag full of kippers for friends and family. The ideal breakfast.

You can smell Fortunes well before you find it. Walking from the bottom of the 199 steps at the top of Church Street, follow your nose towards the sea. My husband grew up in Whitby so whenever we come back to Whitby to see relatives...More

Stumbled across Fortune's Kippers as we made our way to the breakwater on the south side of Whitby harbour and have thanked our good luck on each subsequent visit to Whitby. Fortune's Kippers is now a destination and not a diversion. The smoked product, smoke...More
