I love craft stores with local artistry. On Elm Hill they have a cute craft cottage with jewlery, artwork, pottery and fabric creations. Quite reasonable and a great way to spend an hour. Elm Hill itself is a quaint UK street with antique shops off...More

If you are visiting Norwich, a short walk from the Cathedral, will bring you to Elm Hill. Maintained in authenticity much photographed, a must see road & shops.

We visited Elm Hill area whilst revisiting Norwich after 50 years. It was a lovely quaint area with plenty of unusual shops. Unfortunately we visited on Bank Holiday Sunday and most of the shops were closed. It really was a step back in time. I...More

Do go for a walk along the medieval streets. Truly authentic and educational. Take time to linger in the shops and galleries.

Lovely area next to the River Wensum which lies behind (to the left when walking down Elm Hill). Cluttered with small strange shops in old buildings selling antiques, taxidermi, china and other, mostly expensive curios in keeping with the historical setting. Some great pubs on...More

This is a lovely hidden gem, that is on our route across the city so we are lucky enough to frequent it. A part of Norwich to have been hardly touched by time making for a peaceful and happy experience. A previous reviewer has said...More

Lovely to see the old buildings and cobbled streets next to the river. Mainly just one street, and there is a car park right next to the area.
