Well, what can we say? We had our wedding party at the Red Herring and it was one of the best nights of our lives. Fantastic people, great fun and everyone enjoyed it. But thanks to the amazing hospitality from Diego and his team, they made us feel very welcome from the start. Diego said we could decorate the pub how we wished and he helped moving chairs and even went out of his way to buy a cable so we could put our pictures on the big screen. I really haven't seen service like this before and it was a joy to deal with the pub from the start to the end. I wouldn't hesitate having another party here, and look forward to returning to enjoy the great drinks and hosting of this fantastic city pub. Thanks a million, it was amazing.

We have been returning to this Pub for the last 5 years to watch "The Lord Mayors Show" as its at the start of the parade and local to our friends work place which we venture to for Soup & Wine afterwards. Small and ideally situated for Offices nearby...

This is a good city bar well positioned near The Guildhall. I have been here a few times and there is a good selection of beers my favourite is Seafarers a nice ale. The bar is well staffed at busy times especially when the city workers start arriving so not a massive wait for a drink. Whilst I haven't eaten here this place is well furnished and comfortable there is a large dining area downstairs also. Overall a decent bar with reasonable prices

We visited this establishment in May on a recent trip to London as part of a social group. We were early for the event but were able to grab a nice table upstairs. The number of beers on tap was impressive and it wasn't hard to find something I liked. The food was very good (I had the cod loin). As a bonus, the basement was the perfect place for the social group. We ended up staying about six hours after only planning to be about two or three. This place seems to get really busy with City office workers as they get off work and I can see why. It's got some character (even though it's in a very modern building) and it more than does the job. I'd hop in again if in the area.

I highly recommend this pub not just for the consistently good beer but also for its friendly staff, good food, and easy going atmosphere. And to top it all the landlord has installed three dartboards in the basement bar. You can't ask for more.
