Large venue
Feb 2020
The drinks were okay priced, large venue with main stage and toilets on either side. Cloak room was about £3. Went for a soca party and I would go back.

Red wine doesn't belong in the fridge. Ever.

Came here for a gig. Great gig venue, but who wants to drink cold red wine? Not me buddy. Take it out the fridge.

Freezing venue
Dec 2019 • Friends
I went here for a gig. I'm not sure if the heating was turned on because it was cold inside. The security and entrance was organised well. I arrived early to get be able to stand in front of the stage (by the side) for a good view of the performer. Unfortunately my view was blocked by the security..

Great smaller venue security good and efficient at getting you in.Easy to get to and a number of good
Bars, restaurant’s nearby for before and after.
Not much seating but most gigs your not going to want to be sitting best place for shorties like my wife and me is up stairs.Bar prices not to bad the only small criticism is the cloakroom is a bit of a pain. All round though a good venue.

Nice sized venue, good sound, not much seating.

Enjoyed the gig here, Weyes Blood was amazing! Security were fine, they got us in to the venue quickly and the searches were not as intrusive as some others have said. Bar was well staffed and I always got served quickly, there is not much seating, probably about 15 at each side of the circle, the lower balcony was standing and my partner was not tall enough to see over the edge but luckily we got there early and grabbed some seats, the view was good from there. Would go back there again, no problem.

Quite an intimate venue. Easy to get to.

Went to see a band here. Everywhere has a good view as it's quite small. However if you prefer to sit down there's a distinct lack of seating. There are maybe a dozen facing the stage upstairs but you still have to stand to see, as the rake is almost non-existent and there's a standing row in front. Having said that, the view even from way up in the gods, it's still great. Bars are easily accessible, cloakroom is handy and the venue is only a five minute walk away from the tube.

Top venue.

An easy place to find and travel to, so important when you live outside of the city. Small(ISH) venue, compared to traditional he likes of Wembley, with plenty of vantage points to be able to see the acts. I will look forward to next visit. I will add a slightly blurred photo of Swedish band Soilwork performing.

Great venue for Music
Sep 2019
I really enjoyed seeing Alex Cameron at Electric Brixton. The perfect venue. An old fashioned venue with good security ( sadly necessary in today’s mixed up world ) but re-assuring. Drinks were reasonable value and the staff friendly and speedy. No long queues. Good views from all around the venue and easy access points for exit.
My memory maybe becoming ‘Rosie tinted’, did remind me of my university days going to venues like the fabulous Camden Music Machine to see The Jam.
Overall a great evening

Amazing service from kind and considerate staff.
Jul 2019
Amazing service from the Staff at the Electric Brixton, I went to see Lil Skies perform and rang up on the day of the show as I was having a flair up in my disability and they where extremely accommodating and most importantly didn't question me or judge, they helped me get in before the queue and let me sit in the upstairs area when I needed to. This overall made the experience even better for me as I could relax when I was in pain so I really enjoyed the show. Thank you for being for considerate, I will definitely be coming back again.

Do they normally sell tickets at door (for a non-sold out gig)?

Does this venue check IDs for teenagers who look under 14 or is that just a general rule?

Where a gig is listed as 14 + under 16’s with an adult – they must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 with valid photo ID. You would likely both need to show ID. One that you are over 18 and the other to prove your child is over 14. Venues are quite hot on this now so I would assume that you will definitely have your IDs checked.

Hoping to go to a gig here during the summer. What are the best hotels to stay in. 1 adult (possibly 2) and a teenager. Nothing overly expensive.

What's this venue like for disabled accessibility please? Planning to come for a gig in May but often put off by experiences at other venues :(
Also this photo ID thing, I do not have anything with my photo on except my Freedom Disability Travel Pass! Will that be accepted? I'm the wrong side of 50 & never been asked for photo ID at a gig before!! :p

Do electric Brixton have an ID scanner? Do they scan your ID or just look at it?? Also do they accept a picture of ID, like a picture of my passport.
This is for an 18+ event.
Thank you

Hi, was wondering how strict electric Brixton are in regards to id for over 18 events. Do they have scanners and photo recognition or just someone looking at ur id?

Bought tickets to see Kamelot at Koko. Due to unforeseen circumstances the venue was changed to Electric Brixton. On tickets the show was supposed to star at 5. Book days off from work since we were travelling from pretty far. Got to the venue at 4 been in the queue till 5. We got passed security, tickets scaned only to find out the show starts after 8 pm. Asked the security if we can go outside for a couple of hours but they said that no rentry is possible if we leave. So basically we are prisoners for 3 hours in that ....hole. This is absolutely outrageous. The program should have been placed in a visible spot outside so we would have had a choice. I will actually take this further since is not acceptable. Besides we had to pay loads on parking when we could have just arrived at a decent hour for the show. Good communication and respect
