It's a small, but will laid out museum with plenty of interest. Took us around 45 mins to look round and read all we wanted to. Free entry, which is a bonus!

I didn’t know anything about this museum, but I stumbled on it when I was looking something up in the Guildhall City Business Library. When I went in there was no one else in the museum but as I was coming out another person came...More

Found this place after visiting the Guildhall Art Gallery as it's only a couple of minutes away. This tiny exhibition is packed with information and photos detailing the history of the City Police. It's free and there is an audio guide if needed. Well thought...More

Visited this museum as daughter is doing policing in Victorian times in her GCSE’s. Lots of interesting facts, photos and artefacts. Only downside was the rude and unwelcoming attitude of the security men at the entry to the building.

Located in the London Guildhall complex, it may be the smallest museum in London. It is fun history museum of the City of London police force. Has some interesting crime stories and a lot of pictures. Don’t miss this museum.

The museum is very close to the Museum of London; it is small but well presented and informative. I think the visit takes about one hour. You can read about the Police welfare, the way police work has changed through different eras, you can see...More

It’s a free museum inside of a city building, not in a police station. It’s fairly well put together and gives a good historic overview of the city’s police department. It took about 20 minutes to get through.
