Staying locally so went for a substantial walk on New Years Day .Very busy park and ideal place for all ages and very popular with dog owners. So much to see and view, with so many walkways ,ponds ,wooded parts- the list goes on

Fabulous Christmas light show at kenwood house. So beautifully arranged with music. Truly magical.

Only negative staff unfriendly around the area. Maybe as it is near the end of the show finishes Jan 2nd! Did not put us off.

Hampstead Heath is less a park than a piece of countryside in the middle of London! It's attraction lies in its variety - open meadows, ponds, wooded areas and the more manicured setting of Kenwood House, with its beautiful rhododendrons flowering in spring. If you go for a longer walk, apart from the main area, don't miss out on the Sandy Heath and the Heath extension, which stretches up to the Hampstead Garden Suburb. At the southern end, Parliament Hill grants a well-known view over London.

Something I've always wanted to do is swim in Hampstead Ponds - however never thought I'd be doing it in freezing December 🥶 It was a brilliant experience. Highly recommend. They have changing rooms and showers. In summer you cd just dry off in the meadow. There is nowhere to put valuables so unless you had a non-swimming friend (as we did) to hold them, leave them at home. There was a lifeguard on duty who advised us on how to enter the water and how long to stay in. We went in twice for under 2 mins each as it was freezing. We felt amazing afterwards!
How we got there - We walked about 20 mins from Hampsted Heath Overground Station thru the lovely heath to the women's only Pond. The heath itself is gorgeous, beautiful trees, open space etc. Highly recommend a walk thru the heath even if not swimming.
Some great pubs in Hampstead for lunch afterwards.

Hampstead Heath used to be a nice place but has been made more into a typical London park in recent years which has attracted a lot of people crowding the footpaths. Not all the heath is like this, there are still some places left in the heath to sit a relax and enjoy nature. I wouldn't recommend going there after dark. Lots of muggings take place around parliament hill and around that area and down by where the running track is. Otherwise a nice place to visit.

It’s a bit grotty here really but decent for London. I live more in the country so im used to nice open spaces & county. If you are from the city you’ll find it great but To me it reminded me if one of the council fields where I live. But it it great if you live in London for walking your dog.

Walking up to Hampstead Heath gives you some epic views over London and its completely FREE!. I would visit the heath early morning or later in the evening as it does get a little crowds specially on weekly with people run-in and walking their dogs.

Parking at hotel is open to public told by a member of staff so very difficult to get a place
Room the smallest I have ever stayed in
Bathroom
smelt could of been coming from a vent to cupboard next door to room not pleasant which was in bathroom
Dusty carpets in room and corridors
Air conditioning did not work hot and very little ventilation we know you have to shut windows to work air conditioning we have stayed in many premier inns very little sleep as so hot and noisy with windows open. We had encouraged friends to stay over night in another room obviously but they had the sam experience felt awful as we had recommended premier. Breakfast: nice staff cold breakfast first inn we have stayed at where staff were not on ball with replacement cooked items asked for beans waiting for delivery told did appear later scrambled egg dry and cold to match the rest of cooked items did see hot scrambled egg being put out after we had eaten . Come on premier I can honestly say I would not recommend this hotel. The first time ever

This was my first visit to the Heath and it was very enjoyable. Great scenery. The only criticism I have is the lack of maps and directions inside. I tried to get to Kenwood House and got very lost. Great for walking and fresh air. Picnic by the lakes, superb.

It's a wonderful park with breathtaking views. The art gallery in the Park's northern area is fantastic. The area is full of interesting places to visit, so exploring it is definitely worthwhile. Several acres of open space adorn Hampsted Heath. A range of animals such as donkeys, deers, and other animals can be seen, which will entertain the children. There are many interesting things to see and a perfect place to picnic.
