The posher end of London. You have Harrods, Harvey Nichols. There are expensive apartments. I used to like looking for a few quirky shops but outside of the main high end stores I always thought that area was not as interesting as I thought it...More

Head to Knightsbridge for the best shopping in London, some great hotels and great restaurants. A must visit area

Even if you don’t want to go into Harrods, it’s worth walking around Knightsbrige to see the lovely old houses and the fantastic department store. There are niche boutique stores down side streets that look like they’ve been in business for a hundred years.

Ahh, to be young on Brompton Road in the heart of London's Knightsbridge. Money & Youth. All of London's other neighbourhoods love to knock Knightsbridge. Bollocks - we all know those ninny chavs would give their eye teeth for a mint flat overlooking Hyde Park....More

I like this area as its full of shops, resturants and coffee shops. Also its near by Harrods and Hyde Park. and its near by Arabic resturants like Noura, Ishbelia and Masgouf.

...but parking hell! It’s either very expensive or not available. Harrod’s car park is useful if you can get in. Easier to reach by public transport or taxi. That said, the shopping is amazing.

Depending where you are in Notting Hill and how fast you like to walk - between 30 and 45 minutes.(very leisurely) The nicest walk would be through Kensington Gardens
