Southwark Bridge does not offer the great views that Millennium Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, and others do, but it's a far less crowded means to cross from one bank to another and it's not too far off from Millennium Bridge. I would not make it a...More

The Southwark bridge connects the districts of Southwark and the City of London. An interesting example of 19th-century architecture and a place that is difficult to avoid while walking around London.

Superb and iconic views up and down the river Thames. Beautiful green arches striding across the river. Very close tolcots of other attractions

Southwark Bridge basically links Southwark and the City of London across the River Thames. It is used by both vehicles & pedestrians & it is by far the least used of all of central London's bridges. You are able to get some good views &...More

I Like this bridge as it has lovely old-fashioned lamposts. On the south bank of the river there is a tunnel under the bridge and very often there are buskers there.

Not especially attractive, but functional, linking important parts of town, but not pretty. Views of the Thames.

This is an arch bridge across the River Thames for traffic linking Southwark and the City. Recently restored, its green and gold colour is strikingly lovely. Best views of the bridge can be seen from the river.

Probably one of the least exciting river crossings. Very drab bride close to the cannon street railway bridge.
