The courts are sub par and only good for a knock about. The courses a complete waste of time. You pay to play others with very little coaching. They group you up and show you what to do and then send you off to ply one another, barely any correction. You’d better spend your money on a couple private one on ones elsewhere and you’d learn more. The instruction feels rehearsed and robotic too, same jokes from the leader, silly banter. Definitely not for serious learning.

Drop-in for a free tennis hour if you have kids. Great possibility and relaxed atmosphere. Small cafe with all the traditional sandwiches and drinks. Staff helpful and welcoming. Sit and enjoy the matches on the courts, and drink a coffee or tea is a joy. Looking for a bit of relaxed fun, this is the place.

I'm often here after my cycling training rides for coffee so that is what I'm reviewing. It is clear that just by sitting around it is a popular tennis centre as the courts are always busy regardless of the time of day I'm there.

I have been coming here for some time for a quiet coffee, and sometimes a snack. On this occasion the atmosphere was spoiled by the relentless beat of 'music' which made it hard to concentrate. I'm sure it was due to the staff not having enough to do. There were too many of them so they were bored. Little wonder the place was so empty.

The Will to Win scheme is a really good idea. There’s a tennis kit shop here, Coaching is available and there are changing rooms (including showers) toilets etc.
There’s also the café@regentspark. Great for coffee and cake (including GF, V and Vg options), probably OK for lunch, but the advertising of breakfast is a little bit of an exaggeration- you can have coffee and cake.
Dog friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating and 3 minutes walk from Outer Circle. A good spot for a quiet coffee away from the hustle and bustle, or to have a knockabout or watch tennis!

If you just want to knock up or practice your game, these courts are great. Anything more serious - forget it! There are no barriers between the courts, so there is a constant interruption of balls coming across from either side and you constantly have to retrieve your balls from a neighbouring court. The few courts which have a barrier on one side are reserved for lessons. Any attempt to have a proper game is doomed to failure, unless you play in winter, when things are much quieter.

The owners could have put barriers in when they rennovated the courts a couple of years ago, but chose not to do so. This is a great pity, because it is really great to have courts to play on in Central London at a reasonable price.
