There is a good range of craft beers in this bookshop converted into a micropub. The decor is impressive with elements of the old bookshop having been tastefully left. Most interesting of all is the toilet with a hand basin on top of the cistern...More

A friendly welcome from the 2 owners - who also brew and share front of house duties. They have converted our local kids bookshop (hence name) into a micro brewery and pub - I believe the only one to do so in U.K. Genuinely making...More

This is just what the local area needed. An oasis for real ale drinkers. All of the excellent beers are made on sight and served by people who love beer and by people who appreciate it. The decor is un pretentious and essentially a few...More

Okay, i don't drink beer, but everybody who goes here raves about how good the brews are. Well they ought to be, they only travel about 10 feet. :) This ex-bookshop (whose name remains the same) is tiny but cozy. Lots of books, board games...More

Running from work each evening there's only one place to quench my thirst. Try the regular malty bitters available and chat with the nearest person!!

Fantastic beer, reasonably priced, no loud music, board games and a nice guy behind the bar! Everything you could want in a micro-pub to be honest.
