Visited the bookstore on a literary themed photoshoot, but we had such an excellent time browsing the shelves and found some excellent classics as well as some exciting new reads. It's a little small and cramped, but was nice enough. Didn't manage to bag myself...More

I’m not sure if this is related to the movie ‘Notting Hill’ but loads of people were taking photos! Anyways, it’s a really nice bookshop with a very accommodating staff. I love the place, small but really nice and has a ‘homey’ feel. Got myself...More

Went on a day when a donut shop nextdoor was given away a free donut. Never seen so many people in a queue for a bit of sugar. Nothing special but looks nice.

Firstly this is a great bookshop to visit, not your waterstones style, secondly the real one from the film not the one on Portobello road saying its that one. Well worth a visit if you like books, hopefully finding something not run of the mill.

I love those little bookstores where you can look around and go out with 10 books! They have a great selection - also for young adults.

The outside is really nice, but the inside is wonderful! The shelves are all full of books that are quite cheap. I loved this bookshop since the first second. The most beautiful thing is the wood smell that you can breath inside....it's amazing! Everyone who...More

We visited the bookstore on a Friday and there were only two or three people in there with us. It was a beautiful little shop, things weren't too expensive either which was surprising. We were chatting with the gentleman working who said on weekends you...More

Had to go here as I loved the film, as I said in the title it is now a souvenir shop but I still went in, there is the bookshop sign above the new one but I'm not sure if its the original one.
