While visiting Liverpool in early December, I booked walking routes 1 and 2 for the Sunday. We met our wonderful tour guide Jean at 11am and were delighted to find that she would be our guide for both routes. We enjoyed a day of seeing Liverpool through the eyes of a local who is passionate about her city and wanted us to experience sights and sounds that we definitely wouldn't have found had we taken a typical bus tour. Jean even timed it so that we could see Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool team walking into their hotel before that evening's kick-off! I highly recommend booking both routes, but if you're short on time, or a full day of walking isn't for you, then Route 1 will give you a great introduction to this beautiful and historic city.…

Excellent tour of Liverpool from the wonderful buildings in William Brown St to the 2 magnificent cathedrals. Our tour guide Jean was very informative and told us so many interesting facts about how the city developed over the centuries, including the legacy of the slave trade. And throughout this we learned so much about the Beatles. Although our guide adhered to the coronavirus restrictions to ensure our safety and wore a visor all the time this did not detract from the tour in any way. Thanks to our lovely tour guide Jean for a fascinating walking tour of the city.…

Really enjoyed this Beatles and Heritage tour. Our guide Jean was so knowledgeable and I feel I have learnt a lot despite living in Liverpool all of my life! We were steered through the streets with expertise and given an insight to Liverpool when it was little more than a fishing village right through to its heady days as a vibrant music scene inspired of course by our own famous four - The Beatles. We were given some very interesting facts about the Beatles early life, things that you would not necessarily find in a guide book. To keep safe in these unprecedented times, our guide Jean ensured we kept up with the social distancing requirements. She was equipped with sanitizer and wore a visor at all times. Thanks Jean…

As a self-confessed Beatles obsessive, I wasn’t sure I would learn much that I didn’t know already but Lynne pulled some fascinating local Beatles related facts out of the hat! Not even the ice cold wind was enough to lessen the experience. A fascinating, intriguing, wonderful walk round a city that’s just become closer to my heart!…

That’s a lovely review and before we were lucky enough to have Lynne on our team Lynne worked at the Beaties Story Museum - this is the first of many 5-star reviews for Lynne who although she didn’t absolutely need to chose to undertake our full 12-week course and her assessment is next week but I know that she will be absolutely delighted
