Lovely location on steep hill and a building steeped in history, so well worth visiting. The food tried very hard to be upscale but somehow failed to hit the heights. The portions were a little ungenerous for Lincolnshire!

Passing down Steep Hill from the Castle & Cathedral to the Bus Station, Diane & I were impressed (unlike most of the rest of Lincoln!). Visually interesting and well documented.

Yet another of those buildings that Lincoln seems to be full of, old and full of history, although this one has more than its fair share.

A quiet environment served at a nice pace. Food is divine but tends to be a little small...saying that, the food is cooked to perfection. Would like music playing in the background so we didn’t need to whisper.

Careful attentive staff, well thought out menus and a slow paced, relaxed atmosphere left me thinking I was going to be paying through the nose for it. I was wrong.

One of the earliest examples of a town house in the country. I understand that the house has traditionally been associated with the thriving Jewish community in Medieval Lincoln and is yet another example of an impressive historical edifice in this city.
