The Museum of RAF Firefighting hosts a large collection of privately owned Fire related memorabilia, models and items used by fire services throughout the Globe, concentrating mostly on RAF but also other Military and Domestic Fire services. The Museum has the largest private collection of Military Fire Appliances in the UK and possibly the World. Currently standing at 47 vehicles. We are currently unable to take visitors as the premises at RAF Scampton has been revoked for other Military purposes, when we find a new location we will update this page.

I would thoroughly recommend the whole RAF history experience. An excellent way to spend a very interesting few hours. For ex service personnel a trip down memory lane. If you are lucky you may even get a glimpse of the famous red arrows.

There were 30 members arrived to be guided around this site. Over the years we have been to many other venues, and met lots of interesting people, but this was outstanding. It was very well organised, and it was so educational, but enjoyable.
