I feel that Newarke Museum is underrated — I didn’t know about it until last week and I don’t think many Leicester locals know about it, what a shame! It’s interesting, it’s close to the city centre, it’s full of beautiful displays and perfect for...More

Absolutely fantastic museum, so many displays and they're all well designed and thought out. There's so much to look at from World War 1 and 2 memorabilia, to retro toys. Loved the little vintage street. Definitley worth a visit

A small museum, dedicated partly to the history of Leicester, and partly to the history of the Leicestershire Regiment. Informative and very interesting. The recreation of an old street with its shops was particularly well presented.
