Now back to it's pre-flood beauty, this is a great place for kids to play in and for dogs to chase balls, with plenty of open space to run around in. Young grandsons really enjoyed the play area, which has a variety of swings, slides...More

Beautiful park but needs more public toilets. Would spend a lot more time there if these facilities were provided.

Great place to walk the dog at anytime of the day. Always go here when in Keswick to walk the dog first thing or last thing at night. Busy park (mainly dog walkers) & some families.

Great park right on the edge of Derwentwater. It’s well kept and is very popular. Nice array of plants and lovely views of the mountains in the Newlands valley.

We rented Wren Cottage from Sally’s Cottages, across the road from this park. The grand children loved scootering along the tarmac paths and enjoyed the lovely children’s park. The River was fast flowing and there were 2 bridges across - I believe New after recent...More

The weather on our visit was aweful but we could see the park was worth a return visit. The river nearby was running high and some flooding was experienced. Close to town centre.
