Short visit to a stone circle. Not much to see, but interesting to pop in if you are passing. Nice walk to get there from Keswick.

Walked across the road from the adventure centre to have a look at the stone circle, very cool. A great view in every direction that you look, some snow was still on the furthest mountain. There’s and information board at the entrance and a place...More

A great place to visit from a historical stance and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. A must place to visit.

No entrance fee as this is in a field with sheep running around it. Not very spectacular, but the view from this location is. (We were there when the sun was shining). Another example of stone circles with no apparent reason for them. I couldn't...More

This is a beautiful place to visit. It is surrounded by the Pennines and the views are spectacular. The Stone Circle holds a positive energy and we loved spending time there, and so did our Bassett Hound! A perfect place to bring a picnic and...More

Situated in an elevated and isolated location, we were able to experience the Stones in perfect isolation. The 360 Degree views of the surrounding Lakeland mountains were breath taking. A must visit when you’re in Keswick. Highly Recommend
