Great little fell overlooking Keswick and Derwent Water. Super views and clear paths to follow. We enjoyed a fine walk taking in some lovely woodland and riverside trails on the way back to Keswick.

we walked this route from the town which we walked easily. there lovely views over the lake and the hills around. You can soak up the view by sitting on the one and only seat and take a well deserved break.

Decided to do this walk on our last day before setting off home. Seen it in a magazine as a stroll. Just to point out it is a stroll but the first part is a steep incline which is challenging and has you out of...More

This is such a good walk for a starting point. My sister has never been to the Lake District before and we took her up Latrigg for her first walk and she found it quite easy and enjoyable. The views at the top are so...More

This is a pretty easy walk, nice and accessible, that takes you up over Keswick with some extraordinary views over the town, down over Derwent and up towards Bassingthwaite as well. There are one or two steeper sections, but it's mostly quite a gentle climb....More

Short walk but has some stunning views, steep start to walk accessed via fitz park and spoony green lane. Track goes to side of woodland up fairly steep hill. There are side turns to right which offer quick access to summit but these can be...More

This is a great place to hike with children. A short hike from a car park on the other side of Keswick - recommended with kids.

We walked from Keswick over the footbridge at Briar Rigg. It's an uphill struggle from the start to the viewpoint just below the summit. Worth the effort with views over Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite. We walked on to Threlkeld returning via Castlerigg stone circle.

Not particularly - it's quite steep at one or two points but the road generally is pretty quiet so you can take your time. All tarmac though so not a bumpy one.
