The Hull Maritime Museum is a prominent building in the centre of the city.
Free to enter (donations welcomed) there are several floors of maritime artefacts to explore.

Lots of interesting artefacts and individual displays about different part of Hull's maritime history. Friendly and helpful staff. The hard life of fishermen, life at sea during war time, curios like the 'possibly fake' mermaid.

Hi Peter... I've never seen pets in the museum. There are priceless artefacts that could suffer irreparable damage especially if a large very unruly dog misbehaved and therefore i would imagine the policy will be to admit... More
